For our client Silent Eight we are looking for Sales Engineer.
At Silent Eight, we develop our own AI-based products to combat financial crimes that enable things like money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and systemic corruption. As a Sales Engineer, you will gain an in-depth understanding of Silent Eight's product offerings and roadmap while collaborating closely with sales directors to present tailored solutions to clients. Your responsibilities include delivering technical presentations and demonstrations, establishing trusted relationships with clients, and providing ongoing technical support to drive sales efforts. Additionally, you will play a key role in guiding customers through the installation process and ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of the existing Silent Eight product set and stay abreast of the product roadmap
Collaborate with aligned sales directors to present compelling use cases that align with client objectives
Deliver the Silent Eight message and vision including technical architecture presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers and partners
Conduct remote calls and face-to-face meetings to discuss prospective business and technical fit with Silent Eight software products
Establish relationships with customers and prospective customers as a trusted technical adviser and with all relevant technical stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and support of sales efforts to drive team-based selling with aligned sales directors
Guide prospective customers through installation of proof of value solutions, working with customers, sales directors, and all internal stakeholders to ensure that the customer purchases the software following the POV
Work closely with revenue, product management and implementation to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities
Support pre & post sales issues
Work with aligned sales directors as well as Region SVPs to drive partner onboarding and enablement in the region to develop strong and deep strategic relationships with existing clients, prospective clients, and potential industry partners
Interact with Development and Engineering to ensure the product fills customer requirements and communicate these requirements and findings to the Product Management team
Provide feedback to Development around customer requirements and long term product roadmap goals
Evangelize Silent Eight solutions online through social media
Own technical relationships with implemented clients.
Requirements
At least 3 to 5 years of experience as Pre-Sales Engineering or similar role
An engineering background which involves programming and deploying software (software developer, data scientist, DevOps, etc.)
A strong understanding of CI/CD basics and how modern software is built, tested and deployed
Ability to design deployment solutions of products - this requires basic architecture design skills
Familiarity with HA, DR and BC terms and experience with while selling solutions that are mission-critical for your customers
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to explain technical solutions and concepts to non-technical people
Good practical understanding of Datacenter.
