Required
- SQL + DWH + Healthcare + BA + DA knowledge is a must.
- Strong logical & analytical SQL query writing skills.
- Deep understanding of the Healthcare Insurance domain.
- Experience in designing & building Data Warehousing rule engines.
- Proficiency in preparing Source to Target Mapping Documents.
- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Support for Production Validation.
- Knowledge of the US Healthcare domain is essential.
- PDM (provider data management) knowledge is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Work within the identified project scope, gathering business requirements by collaborating with business stakeholders, Business Architecture, IT, and Vendors (or cross-functional technical teams).
- Experience in creating BRD, FRDs, UML, and flow diagrams.
- Ability to facilitate business requirement elicitation sessions with multiple stakeholders.
- Perform UAT on Business requirements and Reports validation.
- Capture and document business requirements, including system application flows and impacts.
- Develop new process flows, integrate functionality, and provide clarity to requirements while documenting progress.
- Identify potential issues and risks after conducting a gap analysis.
- Plan and consult with business stakeholders on data reporting and trending reports as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for defining business system requirements.
- Work with appropriate departments to ensure technical information is accurate and documented.
- Create and apply diagrams representing data flow, process, and transformation within various systems for current and future states.
- Maintain approved project artifacts and follow version control processes.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Work independently, receive minimal guidance, and collaborate well with the team.
- Coach colleagues with less experience and perform peer reviews for requirements.
- Support systems testing traceability and provide weekend and/or after-hours assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and practices.
- 5+ years of BSA experience is required.
- Proven effective communication and analytical skills to address and present the most complex ideas and concepts to users, business systems analysts, and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills to demonstrate business systems solutions clearly and concisely.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC and experience in creating and developing business requirements.
- Ability to develop, plan, and create timelines for requirements delivery during the project life cycle.
- Proven effectiveness in maintaining project targets and deadlines.
- Proficient in Visio to create process flows.
- Strong experience with the waterfall methodology is required, and familiarity with Agile Scrum concepts would be a plus.
- IIBA certification or equivalent is a plus.
