Job Description PATIENT ENGAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Department: Clinical Operations
FLSA: Nonexempt
Location: TBD – in Pain Management and/or Orthopedic clinics, as well as hospitals across the nation
Reports to: Manager
Responsibilities:
· Support clinicians in the delivery of better patient care, driving better outcomes for patients in acute and chronic pain, including:
o Help recruit patients in your assigned medical practice(s) into clinical monitoring and chronic care management programs
o Speak with patients in-person, via video conference, and over the phone monthly to track their outcomes and treatments
o Perform the necessary clinical assessments by interviewing patients about their function, mental health and quality of life
· Act as Clinical Associate in the performance of specific clinical studies, including the identification, enrollment, and assessment of patients based on study criteria
· Daily completion of clinical study questionnaires, document collection, and submission of all documents and time records to the Company
· Reports on enrollment of patients in clinical studies and collaborates with office staff and physician(s) to ensure every patient meeting enrollment criteria is offered the opportunity to participate.
· Ambassador of Outcomeus in clinics, hospitals and physician offices
· Diligently maintain strict patient confidentially according to HIPAA regulations and adhere to Good Clinical Practices (GCP)

· Familiarity with medical terms and/or a technology background

Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelors or associates degree
· Desire to develop clinical and research experience in preparation for further education in the field of healthcare and life sciences

· Delivering caring and quality patient care
· Identifying and enrolling all eligible patients who meet the criteria for the clinical study as participants in clinical studies
· Effective communication of the urgency of Outcomeus services to address the epidemics of unresolved pain, opioid abuse, and disability due to current approaches used in pain management and orthopedics
· Accuracy and speed of tasks, with sensitivity to office flow and time restrictions of physicians and patients
