As a Customer Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. The successful candidate will have a background in SQL and Python, with a proven track record of leveraging these technical skills to manipulate large datasets and derive valuable insights. This position will play an important role on the growing Loyalty & Customer Engagement team, focusing on developing a better understanding of our customer and driving more repeat business for Omni.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to streamline data processing and analysis projects into and out of existing and emerging technology.
- Responsible for implementation, maintenance and subject-matter expertise on future Customer Data Platform and Customer Loyalty technology.
- Support adoption efforts and change management of Customer 360 initiatives cross-functionally.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of financial and economic impacts related to value proposition changes and promotional strategies for our Omni Select Guests
- Create and execute action plans for engaging high-potential Members and minimizing losses from churn.
- Generate reports and visualizations to present findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner, oriented around growing revenue and Customer Lifetime Value.
- Utilize Python for data cleaning, transformation, and statistical analysis to uncover patterns and trends in customer behavior.
- Design and develop SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases and data sources.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to address specific business questions or challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a data analysis or data engineering role, with a focus on customer data.
- Creative problem-solver that enjoys identifying patterns and unlocking new solutions to business challenges.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation from relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and programming skills in Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, customer behavior, and best practices in the digital marketing landscape is preferred.
