Position Overview:
The Special Projects Internship Program offers two distinct tracks: Outreach and Business Intelligence (BI). Each track is designed to provide hands-on experience and specialized skills in key areas of our business development initiatives.
While the regular internship program, which is already underway, is customized and focuses on exploring various skillsets while heavily focusing on ONE client's business development process, this Special Projects Internship focuses on using (and building) one crucial skill to help various clients.
This summer, you can support a software company specializing in POS and merchant processing; a motivational speaker seeking event engagements; a manufacturer; a real estate title and escrow company; and several others.
Interns will assist with various assignments while becoming experts in these fields. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to earn commissions beyond your internship period.
Tracks Available:
- Outreach Track:
- Participate in outreach efforts via phone, email, and social media to generate leads and meet quotas.
- Conduct 200+ weekly cold calls and field outreach to prospective clients.
- Support the business development team in identifying and targeting potential clients for multiple industries, including POS and merchant processing, motivational speaking, and real estate title and escrow services.
- Engage directly with potential clients across various industries.
- Develop communication and client acquisition skills through hands-on experience.
- Attend virtual meetings and brainstorming sessions with the team.
- Business Intelligence (BI) Track:
- Analyze data and generate insights to support business development strategies.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, research, and document preparation.
- Support the business development team in identifying and targeting potential clients for multiple industries, including POS and merchant processing, motivational speaking, and real estate title and escrow services.
- Work with CRM systems and client databases to optimize efforts for the outreach team.
- Prepare detailed reports that will facilitate cold calling and outreach efforts.
- Attend virtual meetings and brainstorming sessions with the team.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program (Business, Marketing, Finance, Data Science, or related fields preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus but not required.
- Comfortable with making a high volume of cold calls (Outreach Track).
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (BI Track).
- Ability to commit to at least 10-15 hours per week.
