Job Summary
The Software Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
of software projects and for setting the team’s deadlines. Ensuring the successful completion of all software projects and will oversee those performing the work on the project.
Job Responsibilities
· Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations
· Discussing potential projects and their parameters with executives and software developers
· Planning out the blueprints for software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance
· Maintains the organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans
· Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables
· Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
· Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures
· Recommend information technology strategies, policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes
· Prepare project documentation
· Prepare progress reports.
· Attend trade shows and conferences to represent the Company.
· Prepare reports and models using Microsoft Excel.
· Extract data from SQL Server and PowerBI
· Build PowerBI dashboards.
· Build applications, fix bugs, and provide technical support to software developers.
Job Skills
· Experience with programming, full stack development, PowerBI, and SQL databases
· Knowledge and working experience with project management tools such as JIRA.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
· At least 3 years of software development and project management experience
· PMP or Project Management Certifications is a plus.
· Remote, preferably Michigan
· Ability to attend conferences, trade shows, stakeholder meetings within the continental US, sometimes on weekends, open to travel.
· Ability to work with overseas developers across different time zones, including support outside regular hours and weekends.
· Digital Marketing experience is a plus.

· Salary Range 70-90K, Bonus eligible
