IntePros is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for our global client in New York City. This role is hybrid 3 days a week on site, only local candidates will be considered.
The candidate will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights, focusing on customer and seller impact data, business metrics, and content quality. These metrics will be pivotal in shaping business and product roadmap decisions. The ideal candidate will excel in managing large and complex data warehouse environments, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and be driven to create innovative and simplified solutions for complex analytical challenges using extensive datasets. They should have a passion for working with large data sets to answer business questions and drive meaningful change.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with leadership and diverse customer groups to understand their needs and recommend appropriate business intelligence solutions.
- Partnering with engineering teams to define key data elements and structures, enabling the development of critical content metrics that provide insights into quality, value, and impact.
- Designing, implementing, and supporting platforms that allow business teams to perform self-service deep dives into large datasets, such as data visualization tools for non-technical business users.
- Interfacing with business customers to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive reporting solutions.
- Leading the design and development of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, and more to inform key business decisions.
- Participating in strategic and tactical planning discussions, bringing relevant data to the forefront.
- Standardizing data and reporting consumption across all business groups.
- Recommending new metrics, techniques, and strategies to enhance operational and quality metrics.
