General Description: IT Support Specialist

The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to ensure that all computer systems are secure and running at optimal capacity. The ideal candidate will be experienced with network administration, troubleshooting and system installation, and has a background in software development.
Responsibilities
Desktop Support Specialist
I. Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
II. Experience with desktop, laptop, cabling and MS Office.
III. Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
IV. Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
V. Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
VI. Conduct remote troubleshooting
VII. Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
VIII. Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
IX. Record technical issues and solutions in logs
X. Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
XI. Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
XII. Report customer feedback and potential product requests
XIII. Help create technical documentation and manuals

Salary : $37,440 to $47,840 per annum
