Job Title: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
As the Operations Manager at Earthscapes Landscaping, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our landscape design and construction projects. You will work closely with the purchasing manager and report directly to the company owner to ensure smooth coordination of schedules, subcontractors, and project timelines. Additionally, you will provide essential support to the design operations manager and maintain regular communication with homeowners and project managers regarding job progress and expectations.
Job Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of landscape design and construction projects.
- Collaborate closely with the purchasing manager and company owner to optimize project efficiency and resource allocation.
- Work closely with COO on process and continuous improvement and implement company initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage Field Team schedules on a daily and weekly basis.
- Provide support to the Design Operations Manager ensuring seamless integration of design and construction phases.
- Schedule subcontractors for upcoming jobs and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
- Attend regular meetings related to project designs, installations, and financial projections.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners and project managers to update them on job status, timelines, and any potential issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within the landscaping or construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams) and project management tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated growth mindset, forward-thinking approach, and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
