The West Toronto Ontario Health Team (WTOHT) is looking for a Project Manager, Impact & Evaluation to fill an 18-month contract. This role will be responsible for providing project management support to a portfolio of community-facing initiatives and leading evaluation activities for the West Toronto OHT.
Under the direction of the WTOHT Director, the Project Manager, Impact & Evaluation will use their qualitative and quantitative research skills to collect and prepare insights to inform WTOHT decision-making, assess the effectiveness of WTOHT initiatives and to inform decisions to suspend or expand those initiatives.
Responsibilities
The Project Manager, Impact & Evaluation will be responsible for leading the following portfolio:
- Providing project management support to up to 3-4 Task Force initiatives (i.e. community-facing) at a time;
- Timely implementation of community-facing initiatives to ensure Work Plan timelines are met;
- Supporting the development of evaluation methods for all West Toronto OHT initiatives including data collection, analysis, and presentation;
- Preparing analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision-making at WTOHT Steering Committee, Working Groups, Task Forces, and other stakeholder groups as required;
- Develop methods to collect and analyze patient and provider feedback at point of care in primary care settings;
- Engage with patients, families, caregivers and wider community in the collection and sharing back of insights generated;
- Offer guidance and expertise to stakeholders to support measurement of impact across all WTOHT operations; and
- Other responsibilities that arise as needed.
Qualifications & Key Skills
- Minimum undergraduate degree with a preference for specializations related to health system planning. MPH, MPA, MHA all assets for potential applicants;
- Demonstrated research experience preferably in a healthcare setting;
- Strong digital and computer literacy;
- Experience successfully leading and supporting change projects;
- Experience working in a collaborative leadership environment and managing diverse project stakeholder relationships and expectations;
- Experience applying datasets (e.g. population health data, health human resources data) to inform planning and decision support;
- Ability to facilitate discussions, workshops and other planning sessions with primary care providers, service providing organizations and other stakeholders;
- Knowledge of and experience applying quality improvement methods, project management tools and stakeholder engagement techniques within a healthcare setting; and
- Demonstrated cultural competency while working with people of diverse cultural, age and economic backgrounds as well as marginalized individuals.
Job Type: Full-time 18-month contract
Hours of Work: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm working a 37.5 workweek. The incumbent may be required to work beyond 5:00 pm and is expected to attend periodic evening meetings with key stakeholders.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per annum plus paid vacation days, 10 paid professional development days and pay in lieu of benefits.
