Overview:
The Accounting Clerk will report to the Operational Accounting Manager and will assist in the preparation, verification, and maintenance for a variety of one or more general accounting functions or documents. General accounting responsibilities including Accounts Payable, Account Reconciliation, Payroll, Data Entry and assist with Month-End Close. The ideal candidate must be extremely confidential, works well with other employees, positive attitude, quick learner and very system savvy. This is a great opportunity for a recent accounting graduate with little experience who wants to learn, or someone with some relevant accounting experience who is seeking to work in a positive environment and grow their career.
Training: Mon – Fri, 9-6pm fully in office for the first 90 days.
Training itinerary: Will spend acouple of days shadowing, watching and listening to recordings and SOPs and other training material.
Schedule after training: Mon – Fri, 9am-6pm with Fridays remote with the proper at home setup.
Job Duties:
Physician Payroll:
- Responsible for creating deal sheets within the customer relationship management system, Salesforce.
- Works with sales consultants/directors to ensure all information on deal sheets are correct.
- Works closely with the Assignment Coordinators while managing Pay Projections.
Accounts Payable:
- Enters all bills into the accounting system, NetSuite.
- Remits payments to vendors.
- Records and reconciles credit card payments daily.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or actively working towards it in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Must be self-starter with a positive attitude and great organization and prioritizing skills.
- Attention to detail and focus on accuracy is essential.
