An amazing new opportunity has come up in Personal Care Management Department! We are looking for an Administrative Skills Trainer to join our team remotely!
Job Summary: Provides comprehensive telephonic Skills Training to PCM consumers/surrogates and serves as an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) subject matter expert.
Major Responsibilities:
- Supports team of Skills Trainers in rendering support and education to PCM program consumers.
- Manages incoming and outgoing calls to consumers/surrogates pertaining to Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
- Provides clear and thorough training to consumers/surrogates on EVV technology via telephone or virtual platform.
- Serves an EVV subject matter expert providing support to PCM department by providing on-going education as needed.
- Attends all EVV trainings as requested.
- Maintains clear documentation of all productivity including contacts by telephone or written correspondence and confidential activities.
- Conducts outreach calls about issues including but not limited to program over-usage, non-usage, insurance eligibility, and overtime.
- Ensures consumer case files meet Quality Assurance and regulatory standards.
- Assists service recipients in obtaining prior and continued approvals by providing necessary information to Mass Health in a clear, thorough, and timely manner.
- Assists service recipient/surrogate with appeals process as needed.
- Assists service recipient/surrogate with PCA overtime approval and management as needed.
- Maintains working relationship between the Personal Care Management (PCM) Program and Fiscal Intermediary Program (FI) including, but not limited to, resolving service recipient complaints, and sharing information with FI as needed.
- Works with local agencies, DDS staff and community resources to help service recipients access the most appropriate resources in addition to or in lieu of PCA services.
- Provides support to PCM team in absence of other Skills Trainers.
- Provides support the administrative team, as necessary.
- Attends required meetings, as well as relevant conferences and seminars.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree in human services or a related field preferred
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
- Previous experience providing direct/support services to people with disabilities preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry required. Adaptable to new technology
- Professional writing and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
