We are looking for a skilled and motivated Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable platforms and infrastructure solutions. Roles And Responsibilities
- Platform Design and Architecture: Design and architect scalable and reliable platforms and infrastructure solutions to support business applications and services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar, to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
- Cloud Services Management: Manage and optimize cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) including compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Container Orchestration: Implement and manage container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) for deploying and scaling microservices and containerized applications.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes; ensure smooth and reliable releases.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security of platforms and applications.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance policies in platform design and deployment; ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation and Collaboration: Document platform architecture, configurations, and processes; collaborate closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience (X years) as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
