A national law firm is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to join their team for a 3-6 month long assignment. The firm has an office in Silicon Valley, and is seeking candidates that are comfortable commuting into the office on a hybrid basis. Ideal candidates will have experience in recruiting within a law firm or professional services environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain candidate and training databases, including managing correspondence, collecting evaluations, performing data entry, and generating reports.
- Plan and organize summer associate program events, track invoices and expenses, manage RSVP counts, and maintain summer associate files (evaluations, work assignments, transcripts).
- Prepare documents and correspondence, including outreach to law school career services and student organizations.
- Update department calendars and manage the team’s inbox, organizing incoming correspondences and ensuring prompt responses.
- Schedule interviews and manage logistics, including reserving conference rooms, arranging catering and video conferences, and circulating calendar invitations.
- Host candidates during interviews, greeting in-person candidates, and facilitating their interview schedules throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in human resources, professional development, recruiting, event planning, or administrative roles in an office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with recruiting databases is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Compensation:
$24-$27/hr. depending on relevant experience
