Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Azure SQL Database Administrator and Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong database administration, development, and scalability background. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Azure SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain Microsoft Azure SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Monitor and optimize database performance and scalability.
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
- Develop, test, and deploy database scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database solutions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Microsoft Azure SQL Database Administrator and Developer.
- In-depth understanding of database administration, development, and scalability.
- Strong understanding of Azure SQL query performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with database backup and recovery, replication, and high availability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player with the ability to lead and collaborate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years, but flexible based upon prior experience.
