Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Consultant Cloud Architect with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, coupled with excellent leadership and consulting skills. As a Lead Consultant Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of GCP solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, provide strategic guidance, and deliver innovative cloud solutions that drive business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and architecture of GCP solutions for our clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Provide strategic consulting to clients on cloud adoption, migration strategies, and optimization of cloud resources. Lead and mentor a team of cloud architects and engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise. Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and develop roadmaps for cloud adoption. Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective architectures using GCP services and best practices. Lead the implementation of GCP solutions, including infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and deployment pipelines. Develop migration strategies for moving workloads to GCP, including lift-and-shift, replatforming, and refactoring approaches. Conduct architecture reviews, assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Provide thought leadership on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to ensure successful implementation and operation of GCP solutions. Additional Technical Skills: Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, AWS Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation Data Analytics and Warehousing: BigQuery, AWS Redshift Data Engineering: Data pipelines, ETL processes Security: Cloud Armor, WAF policies, KMS, IAM, VPC service controls, AWS Service control policies Networking: Firewall, routing, Private Google Access, Private Service Connect DevOps: CI/CD pipeline design, automation Compliance and Governance: Terraform code compliance validation, logging and monitoring Integration: Google Cloud EKM and KMS integration with Thales Luna HSM Documentation: Design guidelines, solution documentation SQL: Writing and optimizing SQL queries for BigQuery Architecture Design: Definition, architecture, and design of landing zones and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) Business and Functional Requirements: Gathering business and functional requirements Code Modeling: Using code to model designs and deployments POC Development: Proof of concept development for cloud-native services First-of-Type Deployments: Architectures for first-of-type deployments into AWS and GCP Cloud
