Owner’s Representative/Construction Manager
Manhattan based Real Estate Development Company seeks an energetic and dedicated Owner’s Representative/Construction Manager. This position will lead the design and construction team in all facets of project and construction management for new and existing properties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage third party GC’s, CM’s, subcontractors, utility vendors, municipal officials, tenant representatives, architects, engineers, expeditors, etc to ensure projects are brought to completion on time and within budget.
- Prepare RFP’s, RFB’s, budgets, buyout packages and schedules.
- Review commercial tenant work exhibits and develop scopes of work.
- Review, track and process all contractor payments, submittals and closeout documents.
- Coordinate, track and closeout all DOB filings, inspections and permits.
- Perform area calculations and material take-offs using industry standard methods.
- Organize meetings, prepare agendas, draft minutes, and maintain project correspondence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years’ experience in construction and project management, retail and office exposure preferred.
- Experience working with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and support vendors.
- Highly organized problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects of varying scope.
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, construction drawings, and MEP systems.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, Adobe, and Procore.

Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
