Cooper Thomas, LLC seeks HIM professionals for virtual full-time work opportunities supporting our client in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, AL. As a member of the Healthcare Identity Management (HCIdM) team for a national health care network, you will use investigative methods and automated tools to resolve duplicates and exceptions, as well as perform relevant edits on patient identity fields. You will also work with medical centers, system developers, and business owners to improve the validity of Identity Management (IdM) information, design system enhancements, and implement process improvements to support identity management.

Applicants Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in health information management or a related field
- RHIA or RHIT (RHIA preferred)
- Relevant experience in the health care field
