Role Overview: As the first Customer Success hire at Lantern, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers are delighted with our product and are achieving their desired outcomes. You will own the entire customer activation and onboarding process, build and test workflows, and act as the primary liaison between our customers and our product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own customer activation and onboarding for all new customers, including building out and testing workflows in the Lantern product.
- Become an expert on the Lantern product, and partner with customers to deepen the value they are receiving from the Lantern product.
- Manage customer relationships to ensure customers are happy and solve any issues that may arise.
- Partner with the sales team on expansion efforts to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Create a strong feedback loop with the product and engineering teams to provide insights on how to improve the product.
- Own customer health scoring and product performance monitoring to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention holistically.
Metrics of Success:
- Improving Customer Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and renewal rates.
- Shortening customer activation timelines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in Customer Success, Forward Deployed Engineering, or a similar role at a startup.
- Experience using Salesforce and/or HubSpot.
- Proficiency in SQL and/or Python
- A passion for helping customers and ensuring their success.
- High attention to detail and organized.
- A consultative mindset with the curiosity to deeply understand customer needs and the creativity to solve them.
