Join our digital team as a digital coordinator and play a vital role in bringing digital content to life. We’re seeking a creative individual who thrives on crafting engaging content across various digital platforms, including websites, email and social media. The digital coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing content strategies that resonate with our clients and support organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Craft written, visual and video content for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, newsletters and more, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Develop and manage social media content calendars, collaborating with internal departments and clients to support campaigns.
- Manage social media communities by responding to comments and messages.
- Write, review and optimize content based on SEO best practices.
- Perform keyword and industry content research.
- Assist in the development of digital strategies, digital audits and other digital deliverables.
- Support web development projects by writing new content, restructuring and auditing existing content, and reviewing content layouts for UX best practices.
- Assist with proofing digital copy and content prior to client presentations, before uploading to websites and/or before deliverables are sent to clients.
- Use analytics tools to track and analyze performance metrics across all social media platforms and websites, providing insights to inform future content strategies.
- When necessary, provide event coverage assistance for both clients and the Hirons team, including photography, video and social media management support.
- Provide content development support for a variety of written materials such as business proposals, campaign plans, presentations, reports and other relevant content.
- Engage in self-directed and Hirons-assigned training to stay up to date with all current technologies, trends and developments.
- Work collaboratively within the agency’s digital team and alongside other Hirons teams.
- Participate in and contribute to a Hirons affinity team.
- Support the administrative activity of the digital team.
- Attend 1:1 status meetings with direct supervisor.
- Follow all internal procedures, particularly quality-control procedures.
- Complete other projects/responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, strategic writing or a related field
- Proven experience in digital content creation
- Exemplary technical and creative writing skills
- A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Basic ability to interpret data and use that knowledge to support future strategies
- Introductory knowledge of SEO and UX/UI best practices
- Ability to complete projects within budget and schedule requirements
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality content free of grammatical mistakes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with the following technologies is preferred but not required:
- Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
