Role Summary
As a Project Leader, you will be responsible for execution & completion of several ongoing construction projects. You will work closely with the Operations Leader to prioritize the projects and then delegate tasks to team members and Trade Partners in order to get the work done.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication
- Weekly communications with customers regarding accomplishments and upcoming tasks
- Lead regular project meetings to provide updates and gather feedback from stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines
- Evaluate project outcomes against established metrics and make recommendations for improvement
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes and optimize project efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT project management and business process modeling
- Price & sell change orders for customers
- Order material(s)
- Assign and manage Trade Partners on each project as needed
- Communicate performance feedback to team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of AIA payment applications and payment process
- Experience supervising teams and managing resources
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- Driver’s license
