The Content Editor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all written content produced by the company. They will edit and proofread a variety of materials, including website content, blog posts, marketing materials, social media posts, and more, to maintain brand voice and standards.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Plan, shoot and create original and engaging content for our digital platforms, including on-camera speaking content.
Edit and proofread written content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, punctuation, and style.
2. Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand voice, messaging, and style guidelines.
3. Collaborate with writers, designers, and other team members to develop compelling and engaging content.
4. Conduct research to ensure the accuracy of factual information presented in content.
5. Optimize content for SEO by incorporating relevant keywords and metadata.
6. Manage content calendars and schedules to ensure timely publication of content.
7. Provide constructive feedback to writers to help improve the quality of their content.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content editing and production.
9. Assist with content strategy development and planning as needed.
10. Monitor content performance and analytics to identify areas for improvement.
