QA Analyst Lead (Remote/ Hybrid)

Position in the Organization:
The QA Analyst Lead will work closely with our development and design teams, ensuring that the final product aligns with client specifications and expectations. You will report to the Head of the QA Department and play a crucial role in the final stages of product delivery, acting as the last line of defense against potential issues.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Lead the QA team in developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Comprehensive Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of software applications, ensuring they function correctly across all devices and browsers.
- Test Automation: Develop and implement automated test scripts to streamline the QA process and improve testing efficiency.
- Defect Management: Log defects, errors, or inconsistencies discovered during testing and collaborate with the development team to ensure they are addressed promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to ensure optimal QA processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as development, design, and customer support teams, to ensure client expectations are consistently met.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA analysts, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and within team environments.
- Familiarity with website and software testing tools and methodologies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
- Previous experience in QA or software testing roles is essential.
- Experience leading a QA team or project is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with healthcare or insurance software is a plus.
Certifications:
- Certifications in QA methodologies or relevant tools would be advantageous.
