Junior Accountant/Compensation Administrator
Our client is a rapidly growing firm that has a newly created Junior Accountant/Compensation Administrator opportunity. The role will be responsible for calculating incentive compensations weekly. Excel skills are required and the ability to interact with stakeholders. They are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in analysis and/or accounting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual bonus calculations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual commission calculations
- Track and maintain all referral and sign on bonuses and submit for payment
- Gather and review all incentive and spiff payments and submit for payment
- Perform regular audits and analysis of incentive compensation data to identify and resole any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
- Resolve any discrepancies and issues in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to streamline the process and utilize system enhancements
- Document standard operating procedures (SOP's) for the function
- Collaborate directly with sites and other functional areas for review, approval and issue resolution of variable payouts
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of incentive compensation plans, payments, and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1-3 years of analysis and/or accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills
