We are currently looking to expand our quality assurance team by adding an experienced Software Tester. This full-time role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., with standard working hours between 9-5pm or 10-6pm. Your Role:
As a Software Tester at Kaynes, you will play a critical role in our development process. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct rigorous testing to ensure our software products are both effective and efficient, meeting the technical requirements and high-quality standards of our company and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating test data when required.
- Design, implement, and monitor automated tests in a continuous integration environment.
- Collaborate with software developers and project support teams to provide technical support and develop systems solutions.
- Review and analyze system specifications to ensure tests are aligned with business needs and expectations.
- Execute all levels of testing including but not limited to: System, Integration, and Regression.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Provide timely solutions.
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Provide support and documentation.
Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in data analysis and software testing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestComplete, QTP, etc.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of databases and SQL.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies and plans.
- Experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
