Zeta Corporation seeks an experienced and motivated Customer Service/Sales Order/Sales Operations Leader. This role is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction for laboratory customers throughout the globe. Zeta Corporation provides precision antibodies for immunohistochemistry and has one of the largest, curated portfolios of diagnostically relevant recombinant antibodies used to gather additional information to pathologist used in their determination of tumor status and their decisions about patient treatment.
The Sales Order/Operations leader will handle all incoming customer communications, fielding inquiries and orders as the face of Zeta Corporation. The role will generate estimates, review and approve purchase orders, and manage invoices to ensure a smooth customer experience. Additionally, this role will provide office leadership, managing the needs of the facility and team. From time to time, the role may need to pitch in and help with order fulfillment.
Importantly, beyond current customers, the role can be instrumental in developing and executing an inside sales strategy to expand Zeta's precense in laboratories in the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage strong product and market knowledge and targeted sale operations tactics to turn business inquiries into sales and to support routine sales inquiries and orders.
- Develop a strategic plan and process to segment and reach out to US histopathology laboratories.
- Manage and update Zeta's CRM.
- Process customer orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with inventory management to check product availability and reserve stock.
- Liaise with product fulfillment, logistics and shipping departments for dispatch and delivery optimization.
- Monitor sales orders, verify availability, and ensure quality before shipment.
- Manage order processing, communication, and customer satisfaction.
- To pitch in and help with order fulfillment, as required.
- To answer all customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing technical and product information.
- Enhance value in internal relationships through regular communication, responsiveness to inquiries and requests, and channeling voice-of-customer as needed.
- Educate customers on the overarching benefits of Zeta products; and influence customer thinking towards Zeta’s better performing recombinant products.
- Manage office needs for a dynamic company.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- To provide in-person leadership to the office and team. This role is on-site on a daily basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum MedTech or BA/BS degree; MS or PhD degrees are desirable.
- Knowledge of immunohistochemistry, in vitro diagnostics, clinical lab operations, and oncology disciplines as well as topical trends therein.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated success in customer service/sales orders/operations/inside sales or other similar roles in clinical or life science products.
- Experience handling customers in clinical laboratories, hospitals, and reference laboratories.
- Self-motivated, strategic, and self-directed to learn quickly and hit the ground running.
- Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborative “roll-up your sleeves” culture.
- Superb project and time management skills, attention to detail, as well as advanced multi-tasking, organizational, and follow-up capabilities.
- Outstanding oral, written, listening, and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office and Quickbooks. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) platforms is a plus.
- Located in the Los Angeles area with ability and willingness to commute on a daily basis to the facility in Monrovia, California.
