Work for a fast-paced, global association which oversees a broad portfolio of events, services and media. The digital media and PR coordinator assists with marketing and communications projects, with a heavy focus on social media, digital advertising and public relations. In addition, the position would be assigned a range of tasks to support the communications and marketing team, including graphic design for print and digital media, copywriting and editing, email marketing, and data reporting. This is a remote position and the coordinator will work from their personal location.
Responsibilities
- Manage the association’s social media presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook and X. Advise on best practice for social media.
- Coordinate digital advertising on social media platforms and SEO.
- Write and distribute press releases for the organization.
- Manage press contacts and database.
- Graphic design: Design social media graphics for posts in alignment with brand and event standards. Additional design tasks could include include flyers, digital banner ads, stationery and more.
- Manage online membership community; including seeding discussion questions, resolving issues; and general upkeep
- Manage video content on platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo
- Design direct email promotions to members and other stakeholders
- Writing and editing assistance, including association news items, member profiles, event scripts and education session descriptions
- Assists with website content maintenance.
- General department assistance
- Assist with maintaining project deadlines in the project management software.
- Fulfills stakeholders’ requests and distribute materials promptly.
- As assigned, may attend and perform pre-determined responsibilities at associations meetings.
- Assists other departments with projects as instructed by the VP, Marketing and Communications.
Qualifications
