Job Description:
As Office Manager, you are a part of the business operations and activities of the team. You will help with the Finance department along with the CEO on projects involving billing, administration, HR and internal communication. You will also help create processes within the team for communication purposes and to make the team more efficient. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
Job Responsibilities:
· Help facilitate billing reports, communication and overall discussion with Client Service and Sales departments.
· Work with the Director of Administration around Accounting, reporting and other related operational tasks.
· Help manage and maintain inventories and facilitate ordering supplies, office products, packing and deliveries of items.
· Help with chargebacks, disputes and refunds associated with requests made internally
· Identify problems and effectively implement solutions and streamline processes.
· Operate autonomously and establish structure.
· Perform an extensive array of administrative tasks
· Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help define operational strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
- 1 year of experience with accounting operations, administrative operations management, non-technical project management, and reporting
- Ability to contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
- Ability to adhere to complete confidentiality on all business matters.
- Ability to take initiative and build productive relationships.
- Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize new technologies and adapt to changes.
- Established working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experienced with Google technologies (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc.)
- QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.
