We're looking for someone who's hungry to help a bootstrapped startup in the Infant & Toddler Toy Sector grow into THE go-to premium, busy board brand. We are solely focused on bringing high quality, expert-backed busy boards to families with little one's, from 3 months up to 5 years.
Our flagship board, the Shiloh Board, has been very well received in the North American market. We are selling D2C and through retail partners across North America. We manufacturer everything ourselves in the province of Zhejiang - also known as the wooden toy province of China.
We have a line-up of busy boards in design and production phases. If Earth isn't hit by an asteroid anytime soon, we estimate to have a lineup of 9-12 unique and patented busy boards on market by 2026. Anyways, enough about us.
Please note: This is a remote position. You can be based wherever as long as you're a match for us and our vision.
Don't be discouraged if you don't meet all of the requirements, apply anyway as we are looking for people with a growth mindset. Some experience is required but we will teach you the ropes. It's not rocket science.
About you:
➡️ You have sales and business development experience.
➡️ You have customer service experience – people don't dislike you.
➡️ You have knowledge of digital marketing and the ability to craft creative strategies.
➡️ You're savvy with digital tools and can learn quick (some of what we use: Hubspot, Google Workspace, Slack, Meta Analytics).
➡️ You bring an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to be a self-starter, are self-motivated, and are not afraid of challenges.
➡️ You have excellent communication and presentation skills, and an eye for detail.
➡️ You take ownership and responsibility for any mistakes *ahem - lessons* you will inevitably make.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
➡️ Be an integral part of creative (paid and organic) marketing and business strategies.
➡️ Own the whole cycle of retail and influencer partnerships, from prospecting to pitching to closing to retaining.
➡️ Create and build relationships with local and regional retail partners.
➡️ Daily sequencing (using Hubspot) prospects to continuously grow our influencer network
➡️ Develop your own creative strategies and bring forth any ideas you have - whatever that may be. One of our core values as a startup is fail fast and fail forward.
