SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead our customer lifecycle and organic marketing efforts within our subscription businesses: Pilates Anytime & Yoga Anytime. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer lifecycle trends and extensive expertise in channels such as email marketing, SMS, and push notifications. This role will be pivotal in driving customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, subscription services, a passion for fitness, especially Pilates, fantastic copywriting skills, and a proven track record of driving growth.
We are a hybrid workplace with two filming studios in Carpinteria and Ojai, California. Most of our teammates live in the Southern California area and work from home unless required to be on set, attend special meetings, or required company gatherings. Our working hours are 9am to 5pm PST.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Retention Strategies: Craft and implement a cutting-edge strategy to amplify subscriber retention, reactivate dormant subscriptions, and maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Email Marketing Campaigns: Design, manage, and analyze email marketing campaigns, including promotional, lifecycle, and triggered emails.
- Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Develop and manage customer segmentation strategies to ensure personalized and relevant communications.
- Multi-Channel Campaigns: Oversee organic marketing channels to enhance customer acquisition and engagement.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and ROI. Implement iterative A/B testing to optimize results continuously.
- Customer Insights: Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and needs through data analysis and customer feedback.
- Content Creation: Conceptualize high-quality marketing content that resonates with target audiences and supports overall marketing strategies. Collaborate on set with the production team.
- Social Media: Develop and execute a strategy across organic social media platforms. Manage community.
- In Person Event Management: Create new opportunities to connect with our communities in person and manage existing calendar events.
- Marketing Partner Management: Nurture existing and develop new relationships that are mutually beneficial.
- Marketing Trends: Stay current with trends in lifecycle marketing and strive to uplevel our customer connections.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of managing successful email marketing campaigns.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, or Mailchimp.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and use insights to inform marketing decisions and strategy that provide meaningful lift to the business. Familiarity with marketing analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Heap, or Amplitude.
- Experience with retention-based channels: Proficiency with channels such as email, SMS, push notifications, and customer journey tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly. The ability to write refined marketing copy that supports the brands’ USPs is necessary.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer lifecycle and behavior, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and satisfaction.

COMPENSATION
- Salary depends on experience and ranges from $70K - $100K.
