We hope it will be your favorite place to shop for books and other items you use in your daily life, including gifts, and more. Our mission is to promote authors who share our interest in creating opportunities for healthy dialogue. We created places for readers to review books they’ve read (even if they haven’t purchased them through us) and online discussion groups where you can explore topics that impact our global community.

Role Description

This is a volunteer remote role for a Video/Audio Editor Internship. As a Video/Audio Editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing video and audio content for Podcasts and Book Trailers. Your day-to-day tasks will include editing raw footage, adding special effects, enhancing audio quality, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. This is an opportunity to contribute to creating engaging content that promotes healthy dialogue and impacts our global community. You will receive credit within the project for your work.

Qualifications

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Experience with audio editing software such as Adobe Audition or Audacity
Knowledge of video and audio file formats, codecs, and compression techniques
Ability to edit and enhance video and audio content to meet quality standards
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus
Experience with color grading and color correction is a plus
Passion for creating engaging and impactful content
