We are a team of two co-founders with decades of experience in Management Consulting that are building a B2B marketplace that streamlines the search process, connecting businesses with the perfect service provider – in minutes!

We're seeking a passionate and highly skilled Lead Developer to join our pre-seed, pre-revenue startup as a founding member of the technical team. This is an equity-only role for the initial (+- 6 months) with a clear path towards a competitive salary upon successful fundraising.

This role is ideal for you if:

You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoy the freedom and responsibility that comes with it.
You're comfortable working part-time initially (think "startup coding by night, your existing job by day").

Responsibilities

Be the driving force behind the technical development of our B2B marketplace platform, including both the user-friendly front-end (UX) and the robust back-end database(s).
Work collaboratively with the co-founders, leveraging their design expertise and data insights.
Have a decisive voice in selecting the development tools and frameworks that will deliver the best possible user experience.

This is a hands-on coding role. There's no management team – it's you, the co-founders, and your shared vision.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++)
Extensive experience in software development and architecture, with a focus on scalable and high-performance systems
Experience with modern software development practices, tools, and frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a passion for the startup environment
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
Experience working in accelerated development environments (a plus)
Experience with marketplaces and B2B models (a strong plus)
