Description
As a Quality Engineering Technician, you will provide expertise in setting up and conducting product inspections, evaluating products, creating and updating quality process documentation, and offering operational support. Your role is essential in ensuring high-quality processes for products and components.
Core Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings, procedures, and process documents to support operations.
- Assist the Quality department in executing development and process evaluation activities.
- Create product control plans, inspection procedures, and measurement reports with guidance.
- Support process validation programs to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Serve as a resource for operations to clarify drawing and process requirements.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting to identify root causes of product and equipment failures.
- Select and procure inspection tooling and equipment using purchase requisitions and approval processes.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Assist with process qualification.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, with potential for night and weekend work as necessary.
Specifications
- Education: A combination of relevant education and work experience or a degree that supports successful job performance.
- Experience: 0 - 3 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Ability to apply systematic discipline and analytical approaches to problem-solving.
- Proficient in applying processes and procedures to accomplish tasks.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with raw material processing and assembly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
