Role Description
responsible for creating visually stunning designs for our apparel and promotional materials. Working alongside our creative team, you will develop concepts, design graphics, and execute layouts. This is a full-time on-site role located in Pleasant Grove, UT.
As a Graphic Designer at Jo+Jax, you will be working directly with the Production Manager, Marketing Manager and Sales Team to prepare approved designs for production (apparel designed logos) as well as design marketing materials for Web, Email, Social, Campaign, Postcards, Banners, etc. You will be responsible for keeping projects organized and maintaining quality standards and deadlines. You will also create customer proofs, in-house marketing and printing projects, signage and other graphic projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
- Proficient in industry-standard design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design projects
- Understanding of design principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field (preferred)
General Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing custom logo art for clients in many different capacities.
- Prepping those design files for other outsourced production processes like heat transfers, embroidery, screen-printing, laser engraving, etc.
- Ensuring digital art files are kept organized and labeled correctly
- Prepping film separations for in-house screen-printing designs
- Prepping design files for DTG and other in-house digital printing processes
- Maintain artwork task tracking within our management software
- Review upcoming schedule with Production Manager to provide and gain visibility on capacity and timing related to current/future projects.
- Clearly communicating, relaying and receiving critical information related to production.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining design and production templates
- Assist in managing the (planning, scheduling, processing) of art, working closely with other team members to produce highly effective art that is production ready in a timely and efficient manner.
- Design marketing materials for a variety of different needs: Web, Email Campaigns, Social, Postcards, banners, Ads, etc.
