The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining a high volume of data into the company’s systems. Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and verify data into the company’s databases and systems
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness by reviewing and correcting discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Organize and maintain files and records for easy access and retrieval
- Generate reports from the database as needed for various departments
- Assist with data cleanup projects to improve data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data consistency and support overall office operations
- Perform regular backups to secure data integrity
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or office management is a plus
- Proven experience in data entry or similar administrative roles
- Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
