Our Home is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented controls and automation engineer to join our team. As a controls and automation engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and reliable control systems that optimize production and minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controls and automation engineering, with expertise in PLC programming, HMI optimization, robotics, SCADA systems, and other relevant technologies. You should have a solid understanding of industrial control systems, process automation, and electrical systems. Additionally, you should be familiar with industry standards and regulations related to controls and automation and have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Experience in food manufacturing is definitely a plus.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems and automation solutions for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify needs and requirements for control systems
- Perform system integration and testing to ensure proper functionality and reliability
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues to minimize downtime
- Optimize control systems for maximum efficiency and production output
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in controls and automation technology
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in controls and automation engineering in a manufacturing environment (Food Manufacturing a plus)
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Experience with MES and SCADA systems and industrial networks
- AutoCAD experience a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for controls and automation
- Ability to travel up to 75%
