Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing invoices and payments, and reconciling bank statements.
Responsibilities
• Post Accounts Payable journal entries and ability to process vendor payments
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Create and analyze financial statements and all supporting documents
• Keep general ledger updated
• Create company budget based on projected cash flow
• Distribute 1099's, and other IRS year-end requirements
Qualifications
• 5+ yrs experience in bookkeeping
• MUST be proficient in QuickBooks Online
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Highly organized, flexible, punctual, reliable, and able to prioritize
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and posting journal entries
• Experience with a variety of financial reporting
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, responsive to emails & calls within 24 hours
• Open to learning new software
• Ability to take direction and operate independently
