Duties:
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility and rankings on search engines.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords to optimize website content accordingly. **must have the ability to think outside of the box**
- Optimize website metadata, including title tags, meta descriptions, and header tags, to improve search engine visibility.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that drives organic traffic.
- Monitor and manage social media accounts to enhance brand visibility and engagement. **must have the ability to think outside of the box**
- Collaborate with web developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are implemented.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics to demonstrate the effectiveness of SEO efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Ability to think outside of the box.
- Proven experience as an SEO Manager.
- Proven experience in similar role in digital marketing.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz.
- Strong understanding of metadata optimization, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimization techniques.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Familiarity with content management (e.g. Worpress, Vignette)
- Experience managing paid search campaigns (SEM).
- Familiarity with social media management platforms for brand promotion.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional terms.
