About the role
DataStream Insurance is an exciting Insurtech working at the intersection of artificial intelligence and cyber security. DataStream is a subsidiary of London-based Envelop Risk, one of the leading AI-based cyber underwriting firms in the world. As part of DataStream’s mission to connect large US cyber security firms with global insurers, we are developing integrations between these third party firms and our internal sales platform. We are seeking a full-stack software engineer to help develop backend integrations, as well as design and implement front-end improvements to the same platform product experience. The role will require collaboration with DataStream’s product manager, data scientists, engineering team, and insurance brokers to shape our products to meet client needs.

Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic Partner Development Advisor to join our team and spearhead the expansion of our Managed Service Provider (MSP) network. This role will focus on cultivating relationships with existing MSP partners, fostering referrals, and driving growth through strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in partner management, a deep understanding of the MSP industry, and a passion for driving results through collaborative partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- MSP Network Expansion: Identify, recruit, and onboard new MSP partners aligned with our business objectives and target markets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with current MSP partners to enhance engagement and drive mutual growth.
- Referral Program Management: Develop and execute referral programs to encourage MSP partners to refer new business opportunities.
- Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement strategies that drive partner engagement, enablement, and revenue growth.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Training and Enablement: Provide ongoing training, resources, and support to empower MSP partners to effectively market and sell our products/services.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align partnership activities with overall company objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in partner development, channel management, or related roles within the technology or software industry, with a focus on MSPs preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the MSP landscape, including business models, challenges, and opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends to drive informed decisions.
- Results-Driven: Track record of achieving and exceeding partnership growth and revenue targets.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Additional certifications in partner management or relevant areas are a plus.
