How you will help
As the Sr Manager, Data Transformation, you will coordinate process and tooling improvements in collaboration with Data Operations and Engineering teams to create a scalable, efficient and repeatable integration platform. You’ll be responsible for providing leadership to the Data Integration team and support collective team growth. Serving as an integration subject matter expert within a team, you will work with internal project management for decomposition of tasks, level of effort estimation and work breakdown of activities to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
What you will do
- Understand internal and external stakeholders data requirements
- Support your team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary
- Acting as a leader on next generation Data Integration architectures/tools/solutions, leveraging your knowledge and experience to meet DataOps needs
- Working across multiple teams, both functional and technical, to shape engagement strategy, roadmaps and plans
- Establish and enforce data governance principles and requirements regarding data integrated into our warehouse and data products.
- Develop documentation process and review to create business catalog of integration transformations
- Collaborate with the Data Quality team to improve the overall quality of our integration and resulting warehouse data and enforce business defined quality rules
- Implement our privacy certifications against integrated data and provide support and resolution when issues are reported
- Collaborate with Data Operations to ensure efficient integration and timely delivery of new data
- You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution

Desired skills and experience
- 8+ years’ experience in the data industry, preferably in a big data environments
- 5+ years of team management experience in a collaborative and supportive environment
- Experience in programming against large data assets with a working knowledge of SQL, preferably also knowledgeable in Spark, Python, or R
- BS degree in management, communications, math, statistics, Information system
