We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Entry-Level Network Administrator/IT Technician to join our team. As an entry-level position, this role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with 2-3 years of experience in the IT field to further develop their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite and remote technical support to our managed services customers, assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance, and ticket handling.
Troubleshoot internal systems and network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime.
Support Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and other related platforms.
Assist in implementing and maintaining backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Provide technical services and support for network connectivity, both physical and virtual, including WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, and security.
Administer and support cloud solutions such as Office 365, Azure, AWS, and other relevant platforms.
Respond promptly and effectively to help desk alerts and remote monitoring system notifications.
Accurately document maintenance actions and changes made to computer systems and network infrastructure.
Communicate progress and updates to customers regarding incident responses and system alterations.
Collaborate both independently and as part of a team to ensure comprehensive IT support.
Requirements:
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to different sites.
A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to go the extra mile.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including exceptional communication, active listening, and customer support abilities.
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed for equipment handling.
2-3 years of prior experience in IT support, with a focus on network administration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Understanding of network connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security concepts.
Experience with cloud solutions such as Office 365, Azure, AWS, etc.
Ability to document maintenance actions accurately and efficiently.
