The Role:
Reporting into the Project Manager, this freelance position is responsible for coordinating the day to day creative process of the in-house creative team and accountable for overseeing workflow and ensuring successful end to end execution. The successful candidate will be a hyper organized, detail-oriented lover of organization with a proven track record of project management and a real appreciation for how the right process supports creative success.
Responsibilities:
· Support the Project Manager with day to day processes
· Communicate directly with Designers, Copywriter, Production, Producers and Marketing leads
· Contribute to status meetings and documentation including daily prioritization, creating timelines and ensuring the creative and production team has what they need to run smoothly
· Intake creative briefs, organize requirements and set up project timelines in Adobe Workfront
· Identify issues and risks in given projects, help manage expectations, and communicate potential blockers with appropriate stakeholders.
· Track and communicate project updates to appropriate stakeholders
· Participate in collecting feedback from team/partners about areas of improvement and help develop process efficiencies
Requirements:
- Minimum post-secondary degree
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Creative problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong work ethic. Highly organized, able to prioritize multiple projects effectively and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals, build relationships, and provide sufficient influence to achieve success.
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point and have a willingness to take on new programs and systems as needed.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront or other PM software is a bonus
- Contract will be 1 year with opportunity to extend beyond.
