Project Coordinator
Location:
Burlington, Ontario
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Compiling and preparing project close-out packages, ensuring all documentation is complete and organized.
- Taking detailed meeting minutes and distributing them to relevant stakeholders.
- Assisting project managers with day-to-day tasks to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD to assist in drafting and design tasks as needed.
- Utilizing Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) effectively for correspondence, scheduling, and document management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or contracting industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing drawings and basic drafting tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Passion for the construction industry and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
