Our client is an industrial technology company that concentrates on helping the world work better. Their technology enables jobs to be done more precisely and accurately so that people can build, construct, grow, and move the things they need to live and develop future communities.
The team is looking for a Web Developer to help move reporting out of the transactional database and into a reporting database for our Crystal and SSRS Reporting Services.
This role is expected to last 3-4 months and could be extended based on client needs.
Compensation: $65/hr
Availability: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Job Duties:
- Modify the application server installer to allow for setting values for a reporting database.
- Modify the Vista Client Service to create transactional and report server data sources.
- Add the report server location to the application’s configuration.
- Modify the SSRS Report installer to allow for the establishment of a reporting database.
- Modify the Vista application to designate reports against the transactional database.
- Modify the Vista application such that reports run against the appropriate database: Reporting/ Transactional.
- Create an Azure DevOps pipeline to modify an existing resource group and establish an HA SQL cluster with a read-only replica database.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years experience as a lead developer
- 3+ Years experience with InstallShield
- 2+ Years experience SSRS
- 3+ Years experience with SAP Crystal Reports
- Extensive knowledge of C#, VB.NET, and Net Framework 4.8
- DevOps / CI/CD Pipelines
- 2+ Years Creating ASP.NET applications
- 5+ Years experience with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with WCF
- Familiarity with WinForm applications
