The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.
The Graphic Designer will provide creative content for communications platforms ranging from digital to traditional media. The position will report to the Art Director and the Chief of Web & Design.
Responsibilities:
- Design marketing assets for various promotions & campaigns following established brand identity guidelines, including online and print advertising, email marketing, social media graphics, and more.
- Assist Art Director and Chief of Design & Web with other graphic design tasks as needed
- Collaborate and participate in brainstorming discussions for various campaigns, promotions, and products with the creative team.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies
- Participate in design team meetings and evaluate feedback to determine what changes or revisions need to be made to the design work.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in graphic design.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for details.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles.
- Demonstrate independent problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong proficiency in the following programs:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Microsoft Word
- Google Docs
- Powerpoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Animation skills and experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- 2+ years of experience working in the financial industry or working with financial clients
