The Megyn Kelly Show is looking to hire an intern for the live radio, audio podcast, and video show. This position is for the fall, from August through December. It can be for hourly pay or course credit. It will be 12-20 hours per week.
This position is remote and virtual, and can be located anywhere in the United States. It reports to the Director of PR and Marketing of the show.
Responsibilities:
• Social media strategy and management - editorial and marketing
• Work with the production team to highlight clips for all social platforms
• Branding for the show and talent
• Brainstorm and execute new social content ideas
• Strategize with colleagues on possible guests and potential show topics
• Work in collaboration with the host, guests, and other program contributors, in order to perform quality assurance to meet established production standards
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Passion for breaking news, political news and more
• Deep understanding of social media platforms - Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
• Must have excellent knowledge of graphic design and content editing programs
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Close attention to detail
• Strong writing skills
• Comfortable collaborating closely with a high-profile talent
• Schedule flexibility
• Interest in and familiarity with the current news cycle
• Familiarity with broadcast and audio equipment and resources is a plus
