POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking to hire a full-time Customer Service Specialist to provide service to our customers and support to our Operations and Sales teams. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of previous experience in an operations / customer service /sales position, excellent communication skills and a team-player work ethic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide enthusiastic, timely and proactive service to customers, including retail partners, and sales reps
- Resolve customer issues by determining cause, expediting correction and following up to ensure resolution
- Work closely with sales operations and logistics team on dispatch management
- Process customer transactions including orders, order adjustments and credit notes
- Communicating and maintaining dialogue with customers and sales reps regarding order status
- Coordinate customer invoicing with accounting
- Resolve shipping issues
- Manage returns and credit note creation
- Process new customer dealer applications and account setup
- Processing replacement orders for damaged/defective goods
- Escalate and report larger issues to management so that solutions can be quickly executed
- Administrative duties (filing, copying, etc)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of previous customer service, sales or operations experience
- EDI, NuOrder or Elastic experience a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Excel
- Cin7 experience
- Must be highly motivated and dependable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with consistent follow through and strong attention to detail
- Adaptability and Dependability - must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage demands and be able to deal with unexpected events
- Must work well in a team environment
