Role Overview:
For the course of your contract, you will oversee every aspect of our Digital Marketing Skills Experience program as the Employer Engagement Program Manager. The vision of the program is to upskill early and mid-career Canadians into rewarding digital marketing careers in high-growth Canadian sectors. In support of this, the program will act as a career launchpad and will provide experiential training while creating new pathways for transitioning participants into meaningful employment. The Employer Engagement Program Manager will be responsible for finding companies from various industries and placing participants within these organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define program objectives, structure, and requirements.
• Identify opportunities for program enhancement and innovation to ensure a high-quality internship experience.
• Organize regular meetings with the DMSE Steering Committee to go over applicants and KPI progress
• Work closely with the Business Development Director to identify companies that encompass the proper requirements (size, location, sector)
• Reach out to these companies through referrals, lead generation, or cold emailing/calling
• Set up zoom calls with potential companies to go over the program and the wage subsidy
• Attend networking events in hopes of meeting new companies who may benefit from the DMSE
• Collect all necessary data and build out new accounts in Microsoft 365
• Ensure each new companies receive a signed contract and vendor form
• Work closely with finance to ensure the company and learner receives timely pay
• Develop recruitment strategies to find qualified learners to partake in the experience
• Serve as the main point of contact for the learners, companies, and all stakeholders through the 8-week experience
• Send out surveys to both learners and employers to gain feedback on program and handle the findings accordingly
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs to enhance the learners' skills, knowledge, and professional development.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
· Proven experience in program coordination, preferably in internship or talent development programs.
· Comfortable and confident with business development initiatives
· Strong understanding of recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
· Passion for supporting the professional growth and development of emerging talent
Duration of contract: This contract has an end date of March 31st, 2025, with potential of being extended.
