Primary Purpose of the Position
To inform the team of information pertaining to new mould builds, engineering changes, refurbishments and try-outs. To keep the customers abreast of the progress of their programs at all times. Keep a detailed track record of all programs and their schedules. Clear up any open issues relating to programs through the customer. To be the “go-to” person between the Customer and company at all times. Attend and record all try-outs.
Specific Duties
• Follows the principles of the ISO quality management system
• Receive purchase order and issue quotes
• keep accurate documentation.
• Prepare weekly timelines with updated pictures of progress for all programs
• Prepare APQP sheets for initial build kick-offs and issue them to the internal team and customer
• Prepare TSA Books
• Schedule, record and lead a weekly manufacturing meeting.
• Keep Job boards updated with delivery dates.
• Review operations that may be subcontracted on any given program.
• Create and keep record of all open issues pertaining to the program.
• Inform all necessary departments with information needed to build the program.
• Review drawings and designs with the Engineering Manager
• Attend and record all try-outs
• Attend and advise at all Engineering Design Meetings.
Required Training, Knowledge and Experience
• Project Manager, Power point, Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, One-note.
• Experience in blueprint reading
• Microsoft project for timeline and Gantt chart preparation
• Communication Skills
• Knowledge of all type of moulds including Compression, Injection and Others
• Engineering background
