SUMMARY:
This position has the primary responsibility for reviewing all outbound shipments for accuracy. They maintain on-going communication to ensure customer order fill by preventing cuts and providing information regarding high-risk cuts for approval to the Leadership Team. They work with the Warehouse Operational Team to assist in clearing up outbound shipments and ensuring a timely workflow. They provide example by achieving business objectives while following all Quality and Safety Requirements.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the accuracy of all outbound shipments including: item/quantity/code date accuracy, special instructions, labeling (ASN/stop stickers/placards), and replacement of damage cases
- Reviews shorts to avoid cuts and communicates high cut risks for cut approval by Leadership Team
- Communicates inbounds needed to clear shorts to Operations Team
- Completes cut sheet form and ensures all cuts are submitted to Smartsheet
- Responsible for adjustments including: freight line/warehouse and outbound damage/short replacements
- Responsible for auditing/reporting including: cycle counting, collecting data, and reporting warehouse issues/errors to Operations Team
- Responsible for assisting with return and RTS orders
- Responsible for identifying UID pallets
- Responsible for keeping outbound shipment area clean (ex. label trash)
- Maintains active review of e-mails to address any urgent need or emergency orders to meet customer requirements
- Responsible for training new hires
- Additional duties as assigned
III. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/COMPETENCY:
- WHS Management Software, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder
- Computer skills in e-mail, spread sheet, and word processing software
- Multi-tasking
IV. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL or TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of MHE
- Meets or exceeds ABW attendance guidelines
